If you are moving out of the area my normal listing fee is only 4.99% which is still a bargain compared to the competition. My clients always deal directly with me and I always answer my phone unless I am asleep, on the other line, in the shower or in a meeting. You can lose a potential buyer if you don’t respond fast. Buyers can always reach me.
Others might try to convince you that your home won’t sell if you list for my reduced fee. I have the track record to prove it. This is my 29th year in Georgia real estate and I have sold over 750 homes. I have my degree in real estate / marketing from Ohio State. This is not a part time or second career for me, it has always been what I have wanted to do.
Two reasons I can charge you less:
* I don’t have employees and I work from home. Lower overhead.
*Most of my business comes from referrals so I don’t have to do much self promotion. Do you really want to pay higher fees so your agent can see their face on a billboard? That does absolutely nothing to sell your home. I pay to promote my listings, not myself.
